Slip-On Engine Calculator Weight and Distance Graphic

Below is an example of weights of components typically placed slip-on engine units. It also shows the graphical definition of the components front axle to center of gravity (CG) distances needed for input into the slip-on weight calculator.  In this example some of the CGs are located at the same point.  This may not always be the case.  For a more thorough description, go to REC's publication #61 "Slip-on Water Tank Units."  Appendix B of #61 details the mathematics behind the calculator and provides a example with real life numbers to help you understand the process.
